The board of directors of Vitasoy International Holdings Limited announced that the board has recommended to shareholders on 15th June, 2018 the payment of a final dividend of 31.4 cents per ordinary share for the year ended March 31, 2018, compared with final dividend of 27.1 cents per ordinary share and a special dividend of 4.2 cents per ordinary share for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2017. The proposed final dividend, if approved at the forthcoming annual general meeting to be held on September 3, 2018, will be payable on September 21, 2018 to shareholders whose names appear in the company's register of members on September 11, 2018. Together with the interim dividend of 3.8 cents per ordinary share, the total dividend for fiscal year 2017/2018 will be 35.2 cents per ordinary share. The company announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the year ended March 31, 2018. For the year, the company reported revenue of HKD 6,465 million compared to HKD 5,406 million a year ago. Revenue (excluding impact of the North American divestiture) was HKD 6,465 million compared to HKD 5,360 million a year ago. EBITDA (earnings before interest income, finance costs, income tax, depreciation, amortization and share of losses of joint venture) was HKD 1,063 million compared to HKD 1,083 million a year ago. Profit attributable to equity shareholders of the company was HKD 585,774,000 or 55.0 cents per diluted share against HKD 618,372,000 or 58.4 cents per diluted share a year ago. Capital expenditure incurred during the year increased to HKD 428 million against HKD 197 million a year ago, which was mainly spent on acquisition of new production lines and upgrading of existing production machineries in both Hong Kong and Mainland China. Profit from operations was HKD 822,248,000 against HKD 848,034,000 a year ago.
