AT&T Expands 4G LTE Network to Roswell, New Mexico

AT&T announced the expansion of its 4G LTE network to Roswell in New Mexico. This expanded coverage is part of AT&T's ongoing 4G LTE rollout across New Mexico. The benefits of its 4G LTE network include faster speeds, reliability, faster response time and more efficient use of spectrum. Also, AT&T offers several LTE-compatible devices, including new AT&T 4G LTE smartphones and tablets.

AT&T Expands Mobile Internet Coverage At Reser Stadium, Oregon

AT&T announced the expansion of its mobile Internet coverage at Reser Stadium, Oregon, by completing the installation of a new Distributed Antenna System (DAS) to enhance customers cellular experience throughout the facility. This enhancement is a part of AT&T's continuing network investment to support growing demand for advanced wireless devices and services. The Reser Stadium DAS is a part of AT&T's Project Velocity IP (VIP), a multi-year plan to invest for growth, announced in 2012.

AT&T Upgrades Network in Ohio

AT&T has upgraded its network in Ohio, launching faster service for Alltel customers. AT&T announced that more than 50,000 former Alltel wireless customers in Ohio (Allen, Ashland, Auglaize, Coshocton, Crawford, Erie, Hancock, Hardin, Holmes, Huron, Knox, Licking, Marion, Morrow, Putnam, Richland, Sandusky, Seneca, Van Wert, Wayne and Wyandot counties) are seeing a change as AT&T launches service for them. AT&T acquired Alltel's wireless operations in September 2013. The transaction included subscribers, spectrum and retail and network assets. Since then, AT&T has been hard at work upgrading the network to combine the strength of Alltel's local coverage with AT&T's 4G LTE network. With the upgrades, existing AT&T cell towers can now provide enhanced indoor coverage and cover a wider area from each cell tower. In addition, the integration of former Alltel towers into the upgraded network has increased AT&T's cell towers in these areas of Ohio by nearly 40 percent.
